Worse, if a supplier sends a partial shipment (200 of 500 units), you have to remember which items arrived, which are still pending, and what the accurate count is at each location.

Full vs. Partial Receiving
Full Receiving: Supplier delivers everything. You receive all quantities and the PO moves to "Received" status.
Partial Receiving: Supplier delivers some items. You record what arrived, and PODesk updates your Shopify stock for those items. The PO moves to "Partially Received" — the remaining items stay tracked as pending.
Partial receiving is critical for suppliers who ship in batches, or when items arrive at different times.
Multi-Location Support
If you receive goods at a specific warehouse, you select that location during receiving. PODesk updates inventory at that exact location — not a generic global count. This keeps your per-location stock accurate and prevents overselling.
